Off To A Telling Start

He is getting ready to take the wheel of a sinking ship, and rather than going to church, he goes to the gym.

"Obama skips church, heads to gym"

President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend church services since winning the White House earlier this month, a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors.

On the three Sundays since his election, Obama has instead used his free time to get in workouts at a Chicago gym.

Asked about the president-elect's decision to not attend church, a transition aide noted that the Obamas valued their faith experience in Chicago but were concerned about the impact their large retinue may have on other parishioners.

"Because they have a great deal of respect for places of worship, they do not want to draw unwelcome or inappropriate attention to a church not used to the attention their attendance would draw," said the aide.

Both President-elect George W. Bush and President-elect Bill Clinton managed to attend church in the weeks after they were elected.

In November of 1992, Clinton went to services in Little Rock, Ark., on the three weekends following his election, taking pre-church jogs on the first two and attending on the third weekend a Catholic Mass with the Rev. Jesse Jackson, with whom he was trying to smooth over lingering campaign tensions.

I would like to vomit -- on you.

Your drug addicted, emotionally scarred misfit ass should be dropped square in the middle of that Israeli "nation" of criminals you adore with abandon. Born again? Ha! You just found another crutch, punk.

I was going to remove the comments like that one, but I opted to leave them in order to let people see what Barack's 'followers' stand for.

For the record, I would love to be dropped in the middle of Israel, so I could live there with my family... unfortunately, we are not Jewish, and therefor can not attain citizenship. One day, my Master will return and change that - I will go up to Jerusalem to worship him, because I am a citizen of His kingdom.

As for being a misfit with a new crutch; I can't argue with that. I am definitely a misfit. I love Yeshua, and observe Torah, yet I am not a Jew. That tends to stigmatize a person.
I also love America, and believe that we are the greatest nation on this planet - in spite of our president elect and his minions. I still believe that liberty is something worth dying for; even if it secures that moron's right to be the ignoble, degenerate that he is.
I have not just found a crutch though - I have found the Great Physician who has healed me alcoholism, drug addiction, self loathing and bitterness just to name a few. If that is what you mean by crutch, then I am guilty.
I guess it surprises me that an Barack supporter would be against crutches though - they have just elected the Great Crutch Giver. The Mighty Crutch Hander-outer, who has promised to fix all of America's problems through government bureaucracy and Socialism. Why, in Barack's America, not only does every man get a crutch, they get that crutch at another man's expense. They get that crutch whether they need it or not, because they have been told that they are 'entitled' to it.
The crutch factory may go under, but it too will receive a crutch in order to keep cranking out more crutches.

My "crutch" allowed me to have new life; I, who was once dead, have been made alive. I, who was drowning in sin and death, now have a family - and hope of an eternal life with the One who gave it to me. Only a liberal Democrat would think that to be a negative thing, and desire to vomit on it.
