US Rep. tells the truth!

CNN: MIAMI, Florida (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris told a religious journal that separation of church and state is "a lie" and God and the nation's founding fathers did not intend the country be "a nation of secular laws."

Talk about your "Real Clear Polotics"...

Harris went on to say Separation of church and state is "a lie we have been told," Harris said in the interview, published Thursday, saying separating religion and politics is "wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers."

She is absolutely correct. It has always bothered me that nobody has ever called this what it is. The 1st Amendment is used to keep Jesus' name out of public school addresses and such, when the Amendment clearly says,

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

It is obvious that the amendment is geared toward congress not making a law that establishes a State Religeon.

Good for Mrs. Harris.

Bush's Gift Horse has Hoof in Mouth, again!

Hello Aaron and all,

This gets to the root of the problem of deluded and greedy politicians who seek to impose their own ignorance on millions of others. Because of our reliance on money, politics, and religion, we are teetering on the verge of worldwide disaster. Idiots like Ms. Harris couldn't care less about everyone else as long as they get their hands on wealth and power, even if it means pretending to serve the Creator. It is long past time that people stand up for truth and justice and give these scoundrels their due.

Peace...

For anyone who wishes to read the ranting of a very, very off the wall blogger, feel free to follow the link above.

"Seven Star" will tell you how the Word of God is an error ridden document, how it has been tainted beyond comprehension, and then continue to argue points about the meaning of the number 666, based on scriptures from the same book.

Personally, I have seen more balanced teaching from the 12 year old kids skateboarding in the church parking lot.
