I know I've already posted this, but after seeing it on Ynet News' front page this morning, I just had to put it on again... just in case you missed it.


In the event that your monitor is too small to read the print after The Jimmy's picture, it says:

The "council" that is referred to here is the Israeli government's Holocaust Memorial Council. You do the math.

In other news, The Jimmy has also shown his discontent for the number of people in farming communities who have joined the FFA, and is lashing out at balding men for showing their allegiance to the Hair Club for Men. Jimmy was quoted as saying, "Si Sperling just sounds like a guy with a lot of natural hair."

If at first you don't succede, lie, lie again.

John F. Kerry decided not to run for president because of his "Botched joke" - you know, the one where he called our military men and women idiots? It went like this:
"I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."

Now, in his latest sighting, he is unashamedly bashing the USA on the same stage with... you guessed it, America's enemies! Including, but not limited to the former president of Iran.

It's becoming all too clear now. He is too much of a political loser to pursue the presidency, so he has decided to follow his deepest passions - aiding the enemy by spewing out anti-American propaganda every time he is in public. He has been doin git since the 60's.
It is only a matter of time before Kerry and Jimmy "The Jimmy" Carter hook up and go on tour.

Russian listening posts in Syria tip off Hizbullah in Lebanon

Disturbing, prophetic news from the Jerusalem Post:

Russia maintains listening posts along the Syrian border with Israel which it uses to follow IDF movements in the Golan Heights, it was revealed Thursday night.

According to a report on Channel 2, the posts are manned by Russian military officers who pass on information to Hizbullah in Lebanon. Israel, The Jerusalem Post learned, has known about the posts for over a decade since they were established.

Russia's involvement in the Iranian nuclear program, as well as various state-of-the-art arms sales it has periodically made to both Syria and Iran, has caused some friction over the last few years in Russian-Israeli ties.

Diplomatic officials said that the while Prime Minister Ehud Olmert discussed with the Russians during his visit to Moscow in October the advanced Russian arms that were found in Hizbullah's possession during the summer's war in Lebanon, the issue of the listening posts was not brought up.

Russia most recently drew Israeli ire after completing a sale of advanced anti-aircraft missiles to Iran earlier this month.

Left Behind? ... I hope so!

I have been taught all of my life that I should be ready, because I don't want to be left behind when Jesus comes back. Well, I've been doing some reading, and have decided that I do indeed want to be left behind.

"What!? That's heresy!" ...you might say.

Allow me to show you why I have come to this conclusion. Lets walk slowly through Matthew 24:37-42.

But as the days of Noah [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Did you catch it? go back to verse 38. Notice who is the focus of this sentence. It is those who were outside of the ark; "and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away." The "them" referred to there are those who were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. Now for the rest - And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away.

Who was left behind in this scenario, and who is swept away? If you read it without any church theology tacked to it, those that were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage are clearly the bad guys. "Just like in the days of Noah."
We really need to rethink a lot of the things we were taught in church. We should always be like the Bereans of Acts chapter 17:10 and 11.

We will indeed be "snatched" up to be with our Lord, but I don't believe it will be anything like what we have been taught. I believe it will be what the prophets spoke of when they referred to the gathering up of Israel from the four corners of the globe. We'll get into that a little later though. For now, grab your bibles, and try to prove me wrong on this "Left Behind" business.

Big Dancing, Small Town

My wife and I saw this on Channel 6 tonight, and it made both of us laugh - I had to post it. Evidently Good Morning America did a story on it this morning too. These guys remind me of the kids who used to come to our teen bible study.

Personally, I could do without the toilet scene, but at least it doesn't show anything.
The best is when they are on top of the Goodwill, or when they are dancing around the police car. Nice job guys, we're waiting for Big Dancing at the Big Game!

Prophetic words from Ronald Reagan

Though the first part of this clip is pretty funny, check out the statement about The Jimmy at the end. Reagan is one of the main reasons that I joined the Army in 1989. Man, I wish we had leadership like that again... I'll take that back - I wish our country would follow the leadership that we have, like that again.

Anti-Semites + The Left = Jimmy Carter

Hats off to Y-net news for two great articles today.
In the first, Jimmy "The Jimmy" Carter is called out for showing his true colors in his new book; revealing himself to be just exactly what people are saying about him:
"I have been called a liar... I have been called an anti-Semite, I have been called a bigot. I have been called a plagiarist. I have been called a coward." He went on to say, "Those kind of accusations, they concern me, but they don't detract from the fact the book is accurate and is needed."
Nor do they detract from the fact that The Jimmy is living in a Bizzaro world, who's truths are known only to himself.
Just ask the 14 Carter advisers who recently resigned over the lies in the book. Shame on you Jimmy. If you were not a leftist, Democratic, liar, bigot, anti-semitic plagiarist, I would expect more out of you.

Charles Asher Small calls out America's left for being the Antisemitic, Israel-bashing truth deniers that they are. Charles lays out the fact that the Islamofacists and America's left share a unique bond, a unifying thread of venomous hatred directed toward Israel.

Where are the holocaust's deniers in America? They are on the left. They are on the left, and they are in the mosques. It's not a wonder that the left spends so much time trying to foil the secret programs of our own government - programs intended to protect us - and on the other hand, sympathize with the enemy, hire lawyers for the enemy, elect judges that refuse to convict the enemy, and ultimately enable and embolden the enemy to murder Americans and Jews.
They have a common enemy, and their hatred for that enemy outweighs their ability to think rationally, and recognize truth.
God help us all if one of those left wing, Israel hating fools gets elected as our president...

What is wrong with the Left?

There is a barrage of criticism today coming from the Left about Israel's possible use of tactical nuclear weapons to take out Iran's nuclear bomb factory (or soon to be, anyway), proving once again that the Leftist Liberals are out of touch with reality and any shred of common sense.

Iran's official plan is to "wipe Israel off of the map". Personally, I don't believe that anything else need be said, but lets look at this for a second...
Iran has an enormous supply of oil for energy, yet they claim that their nuclear facility is for "peaceful energy purposes". Are we supposed to believe the same guy that kidnapped Americans during the Carter *ah-hum* administration? He openly tells his own people what his motives are, then denies it on the world stage.
The Left want the US to believe that we can trust Ahmadinejad . If we only give him enough time, he will come around - just ignore him, he'll go away. The problem with this of course, is that he won't go away. He will succeed in creating his bomb, and lob it on Israel the first opportunity he gets.

Which leads me back to the Left's criticism of Israel. The media wants us to believe that Israel is hypocritical for having tactical nuclear weapons. The key word of course, is tactical. Israel wants to destroy a nuclear plant. A nuclear plant that has been created for the soul purpose of making a bomb that will kill countless numbers of Israeli citizens. Citizens! For this they are hypocritical.
The Left wants to use the same "time out" punishment that they use on their children, and it won't work. If Iran is simply put in "time out", and never punished for being the Islamofacist, bigoted, hate spewing danger that they are, Israel, and every other free nation in this world are going to end up paying for it with innocent lives.

May Israel's bomb be effective and accurate.

I was listening to a teaching by Grant Luton today on chapter 2 of the book of Judges, (click here download it) and he said something that struck me as very profound. He said that, "Every decision you make is a test, and every consequence is a teaching."

He then says "-always. I've found no exceptions to that in my life - not a single one."

As I listened, I began to test his statement by thinking about decisions I have made in the past, and come to the conclusion that he is 100% right.

So many times I have suffered the consequences of a bad decision, only to give the results absolutely no thought at all... then do it again! Man, I thank God for His mercy. I am an idiot... but he still loves me.

Have you ever been praying, and been struck by the fact that God loves you? I know that sounds like a statement from "Mr. Obvious", but think about it - meditate on it before you go to sleep tonight.

I think about what I am, what I've done, the things I've said and thought, and He still loves me. He has even allowed me to be called "one of His own". Why would he give His life for such a vile, pathetic creature, such as myself... and then still care enough to gently teach me and guide me through the messes I have created? He cares for me.

When you are praying today, ask God to show you what you are; what's inside of you. I'll warn you before hand, it is going to hurt (If you're anything like me, it may make you a little sick to your stomach). Ask Him why He chose you. If you are a follower of Jesus, then you know that He chose you before time itself was created. From the bottom of your heart, ask Him why - after all you've done, why would He go through what He did for you.

And when He tells you, "Because I love you."
You'll see what I mean.

The Vivaldi Experience

A good friend of mine recently introduced me to the Vivaldi Collection (Cello Concerti Vol. 3 shown above), and I wanted to tell you that if you enjoy good cello music, you will love this CD.
The cello is played by Raphael Wallfisch (of whom I have never heard of, but I am now a fan), along with the London Sinfonia.

As I listen to this music, I can not help but wonder how the "population at large" can call the music of today "music" in good conscience.
I could not find this particular CD on Amazon, but below is a link to Yoyo Ma playing Vivaldi (Ma is one of my favorites, so I can safely assume this is good). There will be a link added to the sidebar, so if you decide to buy it later, you won't have to search archives.

Day Eight of Hanukkah

There are two Hanakias on the bench in front of the window, and one large one on the table. Our boys each lit one.

Rick Warren's "Purpose Driven Lie"

Evidently, Rick Warren went to Syria to meet with their government. Worldnetdaily reported that Warren called Syria "moderate," even though the U.S. lists it as a terror-sponsoring state. (and any moron can see that that is ridiculous when said in light of Syria's track record. -ed.)

Warren is quoted as saying, "Syria is a place that has had Muslims and Christians living together for 1400 years," he says. "So it's a lot more peaceful honestly than a lot of other places because Christians were here first. In fact, you know, Saul of Tarsus, Saul was a Syrian, and St. Paul, on this road to Damascus, had his conversion experience, and so Christians have been here the longest, and they get along with the Muslims and the Muslims get along with them and there's a lot of, a lot less tension than in other places. It's a moderate country and the official government role and position is to not allow extremism of any kind."
The editor of WND, Joseph Farah, asked Warren via email if he had any notes or recordings of the meeting, to which Warren lied through his teeth, and replied,

"We did not tape anything because if (sic) was a courtesy call, like I do in every country..."

Just moments after receiving this reply, Farah found the YouTube video and asked Warren about it. Moments later, the video was removed from YouTube by Saddleback Church.(WND)

The article went on to say that some Saddleback members were "disturbed" by Warrens actions.

Pope Prays toward Mecca "like the muslims"

"In Sultan Ahmet Mosque, he turned toward Mecca and prayed like Muslims," popular daily Hurriyet said, using the building's official name.

His gestures, including support for Ankara's bid to join the European Union and praise for Islam as a peaceful faith, seem to have persuaded the Turks to move beyond the tension following his speech quoting a Byzantine emperor as calling Islam violent.

Now, where would he get that idea?
