Like, they were - you know, shooting at me... you know?

Man, Hillary gets on my nerves.
Here's one reason:

"I went to 80 countries, you know. I gave contemporaneous accounts, I wrote about a lot of this in my book. You know, I think that, a minor blip, you know, if I said something that, you know, I say a lot of things—millions of words a day—so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement." (-Mang ...you know?)

Of course this is in response to her being called out on
her "ducking sniper fire in Bosnia" story, where she lied through her teeth and claimed that our servicemen put her in direct fire.
Puh-lease.

I like, like I don't care much for like, you know, like the way she like, talks... ya know? You can't ever like, you know, tell like, well, like when she's lying or something...
...you know?

Six sided weirdness on Saturn

I got home from school tonight and was greeted with a phone call from a friend who was telling me about a "weird hexagon on Saturn" that he had just learned about on the Discovery channel.

Being conspiratorially inclined, I was online in seconds, looking at space.com (because that is what nerds like myself do).
Lo and behold, there it was. According to NASA it is 15,000 miles across (big enough to fit 4 earth's in it) and according to the GIF above, it spins in a counter clockwise fashion.

What in the heck could cause something like that? They said that they have known about it for over twenty years and it is still there, so it is a "long-lasting oddity."

From Space.com:
"This is a very strange feature, lying in a precise geometric fashion with six nearly equally straight sides," said Kevin Baines, atmospheric expert and member of Cassini's visual and infrared mapping spectrometer team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. "We've never seen anything like this on any other planet. Indeed, Saturn's thick atmosphere, where circularly-shaped waves and convective cells dominate, is perhaps the last place you'd expect to see such a six-sided geometric figure, yet there it is."

Let me get this straight....

So, on Easter, we are supposed to honor our King; the King of kings.
We are supposed to reflect on the resurrection of our Messiah, Jesus - a Jewish rabbi who was killed for our sins.
We are supposed to reflect on the meaning of His life, death and resurrection.

Even though scripture says very plainly that He was crucified on Passover, we are supposed to completely disregard this scriptural festival in trade for a Pagan holiday, named after the Pagan god "Ishtar" and then let our kids search the yard for tiny Pagan symbols of fertility.

...then top it all of by having a big family dinner in Jesus name.

A big fat pork dinner in honor of
our Jewish rabbi who has done so much for us.

Because we love Him.

JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama's Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America's Declaration of Independence.

Fair is Fair, But I Won't Go There

I never claimed to be "fair and balanced" but I feel it necessary to show the other side of the "Barack's Preacher" story. It seems that there is an equally disgusting spout-off from a Hillary supporting preacher.
I am not going to post the video on my site because this guy sounds like an R movie, but here's the link if you want to see it.

I know that all of this is old news - Drudge and Rush both were telling the story yesterday, but I want to look at it from a different angle.
First, it is worth noticing that neither one of these "preachers" are representing the Messiah out of the bible; not the Messiah that I read about, anyway.

It also goes to show you that it doesn't matter how many ridiculous robes or purple garments, or "Jesus is Lord" banners, or titles you give yourself. None of those things make you a person to "revere."

I can not think of any time where the language out of these two "preachers" is acceptable - be it in public, private, or the pulpit. It makes me sick to my stomach knowing that the population as a whole will relate this to all of Christendom - this is not who we are... at least those of us who revere God's Word, which leads me to my second observation concerning these two irreverent "reverends."
They are both Democrats. Is that unfair? If you say yes, then you are not paying attention. You can disagree with the Republican preachers all you want, but I challenge you to find a sermon where they have to be bleeped out or censored in any way.
I don't recall Pat Robertson - controversial as he is - ever undulating and cussing from the pulpit.
It is something to think about.

The Day Pigs Grew Wings.

Finally!
Something good from the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court to Back Right to Bear Arms

By Patti Waldmeir in Washington
Published: March 18 2008 20:20 Last updated: March 18 2008 20:20

The US Supreme Court appears ready to rule that Americans have a constitutional right to keep a gun in their home for self-defence, a ruling that could help Republicans in the upcoming presidential election.
Hearing the most important gun rights case in nearly 70 years, the justices on Tuesday spent 98 minutes engrossed in a lively debate about British and American legal traditions relating to the right to bear arms, especially in self-defence.

World Net Daily brings the Sabbath issue to light

www.worldnetdaily.com has a headline that reads:
'Deception': Christians War Over Worship Day -
Centuries-old clash continues over disputed commandment

Well, it is about time. They actually have two good articles on the Sabbath today. The other is here, and it brings up the point that antisemitism was the root cause of the changing of the Sabbath day - both are easily researched... if you want to take the time to do it. I will forewarn you though; you are accountable to what you learn.

There really should be no dispute in this matter at all. It does not take a scholar to learn that God never "changed the day". And it doesn't take a professor of logic to realize that in order for Him to do so would mean that He would have to go back in time and "change the day" in which He rested. It is really rather silly when you think about it.

It boils down to this: If a Christian knows that God ordained one day to be the Sabbath; His Sabbath, then who on this planet has the authority to change that day?
We know that the answer is that no man has that authority. Not Paul, Peter, or Jesus for that matter - remember, Jesus said that every word He spoke came from the Father above. To say that God can change His Torah makes Him a liar.
"Till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or tittle will change..."

Where was the Sabbath laid out? Answer: The Torah.

We need more Christian resources that are not afraid to bring this subject into the mainstream. We need to question any authoritative figure that is willing to teach us what they were taught, without ever checking it with the scriptures, and we need to hold them accountable.

Tim Terry has written an open letter refuting Chuck Missler's claims regarding the Sabbath. It is a long read, but you can download it in PDF format here - it is worth your time. Notice how Chuck dances around the "tradition" issue- it is almost as if he knows that we are supposed to be observing it (he actually says that he and Nancy do Sabbath when it is convenient), but he stops short of saying that we should obey God's commandments.

Haven't heard Obama's pastor yet? Then meet the "Reverand" Jeramiah Wright

He actually calls America "the U-S-of-KKK-A"

Not only is this guy a racist bigoted America hater, he is pro Palestinian.
Imagine that; a man who is supposed to be teaching the word of God stands in support of those who are calling for Israel to be "wiped off the face of the earth."
In one of his sermons he rambles on about how Jesus was a black man, held down by the white Italian rulers.
This "preacher" is a good example of what is wrong with America - Obama can talk all he wants about change, but in the end, a large part of what needs to be changed starts with people like this racist hate-monger who Obama chose to be his spiritual leader.
Disclaimer: He says G@d D#!!N a few times in this. It may be OK with Barack and Michelle Obama to let their kids sit through this kind of trash, but if you love the God of Israel and the United States of America, I wouldn't advise it.

Here's the video where he calls Jesus a "poor black man" living in a country ruled "by rich white men". He also says that Jesus taught him how to "love the hell out of my enemies, and not be reduced to their level of hatred, bigotry and small mindedness"
...glad to see that's working out for ya.

In this one, Obama's "spiritual adviser," the reverend Jeremiah Wright says that "Hillery can never know that (what it means to be a poor black man in a country and culture ran by rich white men)- Hillery ain't never been called a nigger"

Hannity is right - the media needs to be taking this on - they need to expose it for what it is: extreme racism.

What kind of Christian church is this!?
Is there any question as to why the Jewish people do not accept Christianity as having any shred of validity?

Aljazeera Alja-liah "Slideshow of the Day"

I recently discovered a new website that allows you to upload Power Point Slide show to the web, which is very helpful to be because I can use if for the web store at work. However, I was a little disgusted by their website this morning when they had as their "Slideshow of the day" a little piece of propaganda for Islamofacists called "Aljazeera".

If you are unfamiliar, Aljazeera is supposed to be just your average every day Arabic news outlet, trying to tell the world what is happening form a middle eastern perspective. What they are is mouthpiece for the Islamic terrorist, spewing propaganda day in and day out. Aljazeera is the media's spokesman for all of those actively trying to bring the United States into submission.

One of the slides says "Telling the truth is hard - not telling it is harder". I've got news for you - Aljazeera knows nothing about telling the truth. The hardest part of their job is trying to find new ways to whitewash the news into a palatable load of political correctness.
In the land of Aljazeera (and Reuters, CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS for that matter)

terrorists are activists
murderers are protesters
child killers are community leaders
human shields are children watching
homicide bombers are heroes
children holding AK47's are Kids with toy guns
Egyptian, Jordanian, Saudi Arabian, Iraqi refugees are Palestinians
thugs are freedom fighters

...you get the picture.

Earth Liberation Front Strikes in WA

The idiots faithful followers of the "Green Movement" have officially lost their minds.
Only a fool would think that they were doing the planet any good by burning a person's home down.
Are they really helping the environment by burning shingles, plastics, rubbers etc.? What are they going to do next, blow up oil mines in Texas? Maybe the black smoke from an uncapped oil pump would prompt folks to buy a hybrid.

The ways has definitely outdone the means.
From foxnews.com

WOODINVILLE, Wash. — Crews battled fires early Monday at four multimillion-dollar show homes in a suburb north of Seattle, and a sign with the initials of a radical environmental group was found at the scene, an official said.

The sign, which had the initials of the Earth Liberation Front, mocked claims the luxury homes on the "Street of Dreams" were environmentally friendly, according to video images of the sign aired by KING-TV.

"Built Green? Nope black!" the sign said.

~black like the sky above the house you guys burnt down.

UPDATE: I apologize for getting a little cynical in my posts concerning the news lately. I actually had to go back and edit some of my comments on this one, and a couple others from last month. Please forgive me. Tim Terry and I have discussed this before; it is so easy to get frustrated with the things we read in the news - sometimes so frustrated that we end up sounding bitter and crabby... at least I do anyway. This should never be the case. I will work on it in the future.
