The Incredible Ann Coulter, and Human Events

It has been too long since I told you how much I like Ann Coulter, but this isn't about her. It is about a magazine she writes editorials for called Human Events. Human Events magazine is dedicated to giving facts - facts that you will never see in the liberal media, like these:

FACT: The U.S. has enough oil in offshore deposits to equal 23 years of foreign imports -- but we can't get it because of the environmentalist lobby
FACT: Global warming is good business. The federal government funds 99.5% of climate research to the tune of about $4 billion each year

FACT: Hillary Clinton is breaking records raising money for her practically-guaranteed senate seat, meaning she will have plenty of money left over for her anticipated 2008 Presidential bid

FACT: A government agency sponsored a drug conference that included a lecture titled "You Don't Have To Be Clean and Sober... Or Even Want To Be"?

FACT: The top 50% of income earners pay 96.5% of the federal income taxes, while the lowest 44% pay no federal income taxes.

FACT: The federal government -- with your tax dollars -- subsidizes programs for kids to play golf at posh resorts

FACT: Federal employees spent $16.4 billion in 2003 on government charge cards. Some of those charges included: country club fees, personal clothing, movie gift certificates and beer

FACT: A national survey found that Democratic professors outnumber Republican professors 3 to 1 in economics, 28 to 1 in sociology, and 30 to 1 in anthropology

FACT: At least 1,074,000 illegal aliens were arrested along the Mexican border in 2004, more than 2003 and 2002

FACT: The federal government is subsidizing yoga research
